I HAVE always thought that "knickers' was way more sexy than saying "panties." The latter sounds like something a little girl would wear.

So since my best friend is a Brit, whom I have known since I lived in England with my parents when I was a kid (my Dad was in Government Service so we travelled a LOT!) and he's gotten me into playing soccer with a bunch of his mates on the weekends--when I can get off from work, which is rrare--I've picked up on a LOT of their lingo. And I even have Robyn (my wife) saying some of it. Like she says "knickers" and "bum" now.

((And the other day I heard her tell some telemarketer to "bugger off." LOL))
