Why Do Many People See Truth Differently?

    i really don't think truth is what most people are looking for.
    most humans would rather just believe that they 'know',
    even if what they insist on having to know,
    just plain has yet to be actually known by anyone.
    if truth were what people wanted, they'd all be scientists.
    knowledge isn't the only thing that exists of course.
    nor does anything have to be known to do so.
    there is this other thing called wonder.
    it is a palpable sense that can be felt.
    it comes from the universality of strangeness.
    whether or not reality is open ended,
    to reject open-ended-ness, is to deprive oneself of the possibility of discovery.
    so i have to be thankful, that we live in a universe that isn't just all about or for ourselves,
    even as a species or even all of everything that is aware throughout all of existence.
