I would put most of it in an interest-earning account. Then I'd probably buy a decent car and spend a lot of time just traveling the country looking for a place to buy a house, preferably a place that's fairly warm in winter and scenic, like the desert. Then I'd just kick back and collect interest payments. Drink margarita's and look at rattlesnakes and shit.
Donate a chunk to my favorite charities and church. Buy my wife a new car and fix my truck (2003). Establish a trust fund for our grandchildren's college education. Buy a house out in the Texas hill country with a nice creek or small river running through the property. Take my wife wherever she wants to go.
