It's the Chinese Lunar New Year, and the beginning of the Year of the Dog. It's being celebrated by 1.4 billion people Worldwide. The celebration is thought to have begun in the Shang dynasty.

I have too much stuff going through my head.

My social media is full of discussions about the de-annexation of one local town into a new proposed local town; the latest school shooting; and the local officer that was murdered a week ago.

I'm tempting to give up social media and to take up basket weaving.

Ughhh. Two steps forward. One step back.

    This is my life.

I'm working on an innovative project with my client. I can't go into too much detail due to confidentiality agreements. But anyways...
Earlier today, I believed my client had given me some new resources to improve this project significantly. I was excited. But it turns out, it barely did anything to make it better. :persevere:

Hockey is a hard sport to love. It's almost a guarantee that someone important to your team gets injured...Every. Single. Season.

I remember loving the Bruins in college, but every season they had an entirely new roster. It was hard to keep up. But I remember when they traded Thornton, I was like, "Are you guys crazy!!??!!!"

Then I started to pay more attention to the Manchester Monarchs after that. I remember watching Jonathan Quick play and thinking, "This guy's good!"

Always been a kind of casual hockey fan though. My sport is roundball. Go Celtics! :)

Power just came back on... was out for more than 8 hours. No furnace blower, luckily it wasn't sub zero temps outside but without the blower only the furnace room gets heat... A LOT of heat.

No well pump either so no water.

Power company trucks totalled my driveway too... It's fucking wet out there. Driveway and yard are like a mud bog.

I remember when the Boston Bruins first drafted him back in 1997 1st overall pick 6’4” 210 lbs. what a force he was on the ice.
His breakout year was in 2002 when he had 100 points.

He’s the only Boston Bruins player along with Bobby Orr to have 100 points and 100 penalty minutes in a season.

no twister was reported , least not yet. they are still gathering data on this one. I had loud thunder here and heavy wind, there is a telepole with the lamp hanging from it on the hillside above me, dont know what happened there but its kinda weird watching the lamp swing back and forth like someone is signaling .

I know someone who makes crochet patterns and sells them on Etsy as a pay per download.

She gets so many customers who think they're buying a crocheted pair of mittens, or stocking cap from her for a bargain of a price. Only to realize they bought a pattern that you download and print off at home, so you can crochet with it. They demand a refund, but she won't give it to them because the description says Digital Item Only. Not physical.
