I think emotional masochism is hedonistic. I think it's good to embrace emotional pain, sadness, anguish etc. and not desperately intoxicate ourselves with comfort through food, alcohol, drugs, religion, sports, or TV.

    What are your thoughts?

Idk, I think its good to embrace emotions...and sadness, sorrow, pain are all emotions. But everyone does something to mask them at times, some more than others. The key is to not go overboard. Its actually benefial sometimes to distract from emotional pain so you can go on w/ life & complete the tasks that need done and go back to that pain later. As long as you do deal w it later & dont go overboard. Emotions are all there to teach us something.

It can make you feel more alive. That's how some people become goddamn drama queens.

embrace, accept, as long as you don't dwell on them.
