I'm sure this question has been brought up before, but with the fairly recent death of Wes Craven, do you think there should still be a Scream 5, a reboot of the series, or for it to just be left alone?

I thought that whole series was stupid..... (Even the first movie)

More like a play show instead of an actual GOOD movie..

I think, in order for a Scream 5 to be successful, it would need to have some of the names from the first two films.

That being said, a Scream 5 isn't necessary, in my opinion. Scream 4 did an excellent job of paying tribute to the original film.

i agree, i just wanted to get dude111's opinion on it.

on topic, was wes craven involved with all four of the existing scream movies? personally, i didn't care much for 3 or 4. i didn't dislike either one, but they were both the kind of movie that i watch once and never need to watch again. i can't think of any series that has 5 movies that is still good.

I am not sure if he was involved in 3 or 4. I think Scream 3 was by far the worst one in the series.

I very recently watched Paranormal Activity 6, and it wasn't that bad. Granted, I had VERY low expectations for it, and I am certainly glad I did not pay to see it in Cinema (the other people in the theater probably would have laughed through the entire film and ruined it for me), but the movie did indeed give me the spooks, and for a 6th installment, it was pretty okay. I think you'd have to be a long time fan of the entire film series though, to appreciate it for what it's worth.

I agree. Scream 3 was the worst of the series and it was the first one I saw...ugh...Not the best way to start off a series. But yes, Wes directed the forth one. I'm not sure how much he was involved with the third. Hopefully he will deny ever making it. Yuck! What a mistake.

I hope they won't make another Scream. This series needs to come to a end. I love the first Scream, it was the best. The other ones in my opinion all went down hill after that.

I was surprised by Scream 4 though, that was decent.
