    If you thought you've heard Al, you ain't seen nothing yet, especially (God forbid) if you've only ever heard him on The Shining. Forget Bing Crosby, watching this wonderful man sit on Monia Liter's grand piano and croon will make every lady swoon and turn every man gay (recording quality is fantastic, too).

    My grandmother had a stack of old Al Bowlly 78's. She told me she saw him perform back in the 1930's He was a great singer, who actually wrote a book about how to sing jazz. He was killed during the Blitz in London during WW II.
