Patching Jeans

    Irmi, if you hand sew the patches they will be easy to remove if you want to change jackets. With your new contact lenses you should be able to do that!

    The iron on patch inside the jeans came completely loose when the were laundered. If I hadn't sewn the little stars, nothing would be attached.

    Now, I've got to figure what else to do to these jeans.

    Same two patches, sew in with thread matching the fade of the denim.

    Alternate: get some used jeans that are done for. Cut the leg. Use that in back of your rip, allowing enough fabric that you can sew it in along the seams.

    I just started going crazy with the star field and will cover the entire area that is the backing patch. I got about half of it done and laid it aside for a few days. I need to finish because I miss those jeans!

    I would just leave the rip like it is. That's what I always do. :)
