I'll post some pics later this weekend.

I covered my big ugly printer/scanner with Washi Tape and now I'm covering some boxes for organization.

I love this stuff.

Has anyone else done something cool with Washi Tape?

I should get some of this to cover some cardboard and block out a window that makes my room daylight super early.

Yours has a cute pattern.

We've gotten the foam core board and done that.  Hubby taped tiny dowels on the ends that he made from wooden skewers; then we hung the boards from little L-brackets mounted on the window frame.  It helps keep light and temperature out.

I can't be making any holes in the window frame though because I'm renting. Need to figure something out though because I'm waking up way too early everyday.

Get a couple pieces of foam core. Cut and MacGuyver them so they become panels that fit wedged into the window.

If not that willing to play with tape, use three pits to make "sliding panels."

(Lay out two books on the floor, with less than their width between them. Place a third book on top, covering the gap. That's what the foam core should do. A push pin will serve as a handle, if you need.
I did this in apartments for years. (Eyes current window)
To insulate, I glued small bubble Bubble Wrap to the back.
I have also used stretched canvas, white side out for the landlord, with bubble wrap inside. I glued fabric (used up shirts, usually) over that on my side.

I was going to washi tape some cereal boxes and other food boxes for desk caddies but I started decoupaging the small letter holder for my desk and got distracted from the tape.
