OoOo Leaves Eyes doing a Europe tour right when I'm not going to bloody be here! Grr! I cooooould see them in Mannheim I suppose, but I don't want to see them there.
Whats Heavy Metal ? This girl can rock I reckon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iJ9ikl99vA&feature=youtu.be
It's probably better because I already told the miss I couldn't be bothered driving to Mannheim, not sure how'd she'd feel if I went "oh I feel like going now because I plan on meeting a boy from the Hip Forums"
I would if it was closer by and cheaper. It's not like I never go see a band I don't care for to support people in it or go with some peeps who do like them! But Atrocity/Leaves eyes are established names and not the cheapest (and I'm a cheapskate atm :-D) I also used to head into Germany more often to see bands, and will certainly try to go again next summer (stoned from the underground)!
Awesome! I am a huge lover of death metal! I specifically like the early death metal days (1990s)! however it's all a great genre!!
I was thinking about starting a joke death metal band called Priapism and writing songs about the side effects of Erectile Dysfunction meds. C/S, Rev J
I have heaps of joke bands. Really ignorant and nasty. lol. Like this little gem of mine, The dirty Mexican bashers. What's so great about it is that at the time we made the name none of us knew any Mexicans. So it was just straight up racist and ignorant lol. First hit single "The Jews go marching one by one". Sounds awful I know and you'd have had to be there. I'm also trying to pioneer Viking Rap. But I want it really different. Really mystic and ambient and not like what rap is today, but very spiritual shrouded in magickal elements and the runes etc. Not about fucking niggas up on da streets or anything, just some straight up Nordic gold but in clever raps.
I am still aiming to make a succesful crossover between roots reggae and scandinavian black metal. Its possible! And its not gonna be a joke band! Well not musically at least. Those bands suck and the funniest part is usually the bandname or the album artwork P.S. Irmi's love for the subgenre makes it (even more) clear death metal is gay.
I knew a guy who had a Celtic rap group. The line up was bass, drums, banjo, fiddle, and vocals. He even learned to rap in 6/8 time. C/S, Rev J
^ Sounds like a serious attempt! Not sure what it actually would sound like though Cruachan is some good (irish) celtic metal. They didn't rap (yay ) but succesfully incorporated some ska in some of their folk metal. Saw them live at least twice but now I'm not sure they're even around anymore. Ah well, happily thats why there are recordings
I am really loving these thrash innovators at the moment but I feel they are moving more into the tech death realm with this new release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4e5Jw9T5Zk
