Fess Up: Love Making Is Just Propaganda

There are no skyrockets and rainbows. And it definitely isn't about being closer to God.

Love making is nothing special like the media portrays. The whole enterprise is overblown.

I thought it had more to do with being closer to your partner than being/becoming closer to God

 

It's the loving sexual experiences that I've had that I remember. Remembering them still makes me happy.

If it's what you want and it's what you're ready for, it can be a good thing.

 

Perhaps once upon a time it was special, but lately I tend to agree with you. Maybe it will get better when I'm older and more settled down.

 

I see a huge difference between fucking and making love personally but I'm a sensual person and need that intimate contact rather than just bang bang done. I guess its really just a matter of personal preference.

 

Is it? I would not know....I think quantity in all things makes quality diminish.

 

It also has to do with what point you're at in your life, and what your expectations are for the situation. A casual hookup is a lot cooler at 19 than it is at 50.

 

Perhaps that is true in your reality, but not in mine.....
Causal hook ups were never cool for me.

 

I was speaking more generally. It is typical for thoughts and feelings about sex and relationships to evolve over time, due to life experiences and maturity. Whatever mode you were in at 19, you couldn't stay there forever.

I would have to say it's about your expectations. Be honest with yourself about what an encounter is. Don't expect lovemaking from sex and you will enjoy the sex.

Unless you are having some sort of physical something going on and your body isn't responding fully.

the media has this set standard and randomness of "rules" that tend to go with "love", by their stardards we're all just an alpha beta delta gamma ....... that love is not real so the love making could not be anywhere near real, we're not grown in labs . If you want what the media portrays just take some molly and hook up and pretend, if you want the real thing keep looking because it's out there even though its rare, and it's awesome most of the time.
