A classic. I haven't read any Tolstoy yet, sadly. Was always tempted to. I'm actually looking for something a little more instructional along the lines of consciousness and enlightenment.

I read most of my stuff on online articles and youtube videos.. I'd be interested in a book too

If you like I could probably find some of the resources I used online, would have to dig around a little

I'm up for ideas. I normally prefer to have a book in my hands though. It's easier and seems more personal. I like to highlight so I can go back and rehash things.

Right now, "The Secrets of All Ages" by Manly P. Hall has captured my interest.

    Anybody read it?

Surely so. A lot of his writings deal with their teachings as well as Rosicrucian.

Good books I can suggest are ...

Eckhart Tolle's 'The Power of Now ' , 'Stillness Speaks' , ' A New Earth'.

Osho's books are 'Awareness' , 'Intelligence' , 'Intuition' . The book, The Way beyond any way has reference to the pineal gland.

Jiddu Krishnamurti's books are 'Freedom from the Known' , 'Choiceless Awareness', ' Series on living parts 1,2 and 3.

Jed McKenna's books are Spiritual Enlightenment the Damnedest Thing , Spiritually Incorrect Enlightenment, Spiritual Warfare ,Jed McKenna's Theory of Everything: The Enlightened Perspective.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's 'Wisdom for the new millenium.'
