    Why else would bankers insist on austerity measures that depress economies? It's all about gaining assets at dirt cheap prices.

    I'm specifically talking about banks in Europe and the U.S.

    This has been a common practice since the early 1970's. Check out the Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein.

    Here in America, you can't lend someone $200.00 without a: "demonstrated ability to re-pay"

    Why are International. Agencies lending to broken nations?
