that's fine. they may think they know everything because they have access to a great deal of data.
ignorance can be cured, by setting a greater example of consideration for all things.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And on another (back to the origeonal) subject:

it isn't that the non-physical is limited to the imaginary, but rather that it owes nothing to what people convince each other to pretend to know about it.
all these terminologies, like astral planes, and the violent dichotomies imposed by 'western' religions, are of human invention, and have no direct relationship to any nonphysical thing. the non-physical, is just as real and every day as everything we can see and touch, though it remains unseen and unnoticed.

clods that our mundane world is largely populated by, it is as well for the unseen themselves that they choose to remain so.
knowledge is a thing within the realm of science. so i prefer not to create these kinds of descriptions that people make cause for disagreement, as is typical of organized religious beliefs. whatever we think we know, what is there may be something else entirely. nor is there reason to expect existence to be limited to knowledge. even to whatever we may choose to imagine about what we don't know.

the only limitations imposed upon the diversity of existence, are those of our own perceiving of it, which to suit our own egos, we have imposed upon ourselves.

the strange becomes common enough, when we learn to see beyond what we far too often, tell each other to expect.

nor is the unknown any more hazardous then the familiar. quite the contrary.

as long as we don't impose our own assumptions upon it, and then wonder why it doesn't follow them when it does not.
