i made an alcohol burner for chemistry once out of a tampon. i used the cotton, along with a piece of copper wire as a wick.

i'll have to say it worked pretty good. adjustable flame height too

 

Oh wow. That's special. Given the amount of tampon waste that there is for necessary use, I do not feel that using them unnecessarily is wise.

Do you like the diva cups? I've been thinking about one myself lol. I've heard they leak a lot, and others say now that they've started using them, they would never go back to tampons. Plus it's reusable and eco-friendly

 

I looooove it soo much! It might leak at first until you get the hang of it.. but when you have it in just right, then you forget it's there and you can leave it in for a while. They're really awesome.

 

Does anyone use native american hairs?
