If only I had a cello too

Just got the guitar and vocals bit down

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGhwO8OM1MM

Next, I'm trying to finish off learning Jimi Hendrix Castle Made of Sand. It's one of those songs where the chords are the same most the time through, but they're never quite picked the same way twice, so have to finish off a couple alternatives picks.

I think there are some Am left out at the begining of the first lies of some of the verses.

    fully agree!!
    pronan (delete):
Lou plays it up a half step - so capo on 1st fret. In his acoustic version he does a run while playing the E chord. So on the E string he hits E - F# - G then on A he hits the B note. Sounds pretty. Just listen to the acoustic version of the song and you will get it.
    pronan (delete):
Of course the run is also up a half-step.

    Dark Hollow

This song can be played with a capo at the second fret, thus the

chord's are listed as you play them with the capo, and the true

    chord is listed in parenthisis.

Intro: (This part isn't played with a capo, because of the low E,

so another guitar is needed if you want to play this part..

It can be used after each line that ends in the G (A) chord too.

    (A)(true chord...)

Trying to get Remedy down by The Black Crows. Easy to play by yourself on the couch. Harder with a band. Even harder to play well as a band. I think it's just one of those songs that you either slay or don't even bother playing live. It's a great song but you have to nail the vocals down and that isn't easy to do.

I suppose it would be easier if you are in the right open tuning.

    Just a thought.

I'd still say it's pretty easy to butcher it like a Thursday night karoke song either way.
