WOW! I saw these guys in concert this night, and expected to hear a bunch of old men try to sound the way they used to.

I was wrong....They are phenomenal!....They have the two leading founders still .....lead singer, Colin Blunstone and writer of many of the lyrics and singer, as well, Rod Argent......

I thought I was watching Broadway....with Colin...My gosh, is he an entertainer and can sing still like crazy.....

The Zombies broke up for awhile, and Colin went and sang on some of Alan Parson's albums for awhile, and Rod was one of the founders of the Argent band singing the great hit Hold your head up, which they sang tonight...long version with much instrumental, and had the amplifiers turned so loud that all of the seats in the audience vibrated.....

I have to really give BRAVO to this band even today...They just finished a new hit a few days ago, which they sang...I will try to find that, too...

    They opened with this song.....

then sang this one...this is how they look now, too...the other guitar player they had on stage tonight was with the Kinks when the Kinks first began.....

Their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle is a classic slice of psychedelic pop, and one of those albums I think everyone needs to hear at least once.

They talked about those two albums, Rat, said they were not very popular at first, but every year, they get more and more popular they said.....
The want to stay current. They are not looking to curl up and die....they keep writing new stuff all of the time..I wrote down a bunch of stuff and theirr new song is either called Any Other Way or Moving On...I cannot remember...I did not write next to those 2 songs...i jotted things quickly down.

Not a Zombies song, but a song by Classics IV. Probably influenced by the Zombies, but definitely not the Zombies.

This is the one I meant. Dusty Springfield did a cover version as well, It was OK. I have just checked with Mr Google and appears The Zombies version is a cover. In fact it is a song covered many times.

We were in the 3 rd row, and I saw someone in the 2nd row videoing the entire concert last night from what looked like a cell phone....This must have been from him...I wonder why he bothered, as the sound is terrible....so this is just for fun, and how the Zombies looked last night. They sounded 100 percent better than this though....

Big fan for over 10 years now. I remember them talking about touring but was when I was moving so never got a chance to see them. Big disappointment, maybe I will get a second chance...I should check their tour dates.
