robin William's role has stood the test of time though. I love how he tells the story of the baseball game and then says he missed it because he had to go see about a girl. that has always been my favorite part of the movie yup, my all time favorite role. I actually recently watched hook as well as good will hunting, just a few weeks before he died
I remember watching the guy in the 7o's. He seemed to have a lot of energy, which made him appealing. I truly enjoyed his work, and it's sad that he is now gone, which ends a long career.
There's a bench in the Boston Public Gardens covered in flowers and messages in memory of Williams and his role in Good Will Hunting.... Hotwater
How do you like them apples. The punce with the ponytail in that scene, and Steven Segal, the 90s were about metro ponytails

Very poignant, try this one out for size: Beautiful that hands of the sisters’ death and night Incessantly softly remold again and ever again The face of this soiled world Hotwater
Not to be cold but everyone dies. I feel sadder about children dying of starvation in an African country, which no one cares about, than a millionaire actor hopped up on drugs and then kills self. Depression, really, how depressed was he? More depressed than an Iraqi mother who just lost all of her kids in an air raid? Get a grip america
Name the last time you spent 30, 40 bucks to see the work of a child dying of starvation in Africa, or that of an Iraqi mother who lost all her kids though
oh come on....you know you are better than that. I doubt anyone here is sitting around crying day and night. But it is human when you grow up watching someone who seems not only funny but extremely nice to take a look and say..gee..thats really sad. It doesnt mean you can also have sadness for other people who have things bad in life. One does not exclude the other. And really if you dont feel its sad..that he left behind his kids or..whatever..theres no point taking the time to say things to others.
True, everybody dies. Robin Williams gave insight into what troubled him, or at least part of his troubles. He had fear. Fear isn't just a four letter word .. it's an actual energy field. Wouldn't be wise for anyone else to look at his famous life and decide that we know whether his fears were rational or justified, or not. It's a simple fact: fear is what was real for him. I think his suicide death shows that in what is perceived and believed to be among the best possible life to live, compared to the harrowing Hell of a mother whose children are killed, life is still very painful. Even in the best possible circumstances. Lots of people care about life in Africa. There are plenty of organizations, involvement, projects. Africa is huge, so while it may seem some places are abandon and forgotten about, take a closer look. There's so much going on in Africa that it's just not accurate to say nobody cares.
Those sick fucks are at it again..... Westboro Baptist Church planning to protest Robin Williams' funeral Aug. 15, 2014, 6:41 PM EST Members of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church are planning an ill-advised protest at tragic actor Robin Williams' funeral over his portrayal of a gay man in "The Birdcage." The "Good Will Hunting" star passed away on Monday and while details of his funeral have not been made public, members of the church have already announced plans to picket the memorial. A message posted on the group's official Twitter page reads: "Westboro Baptist Church Hopes To Preach In Lawful Proximity To Robin Williams' Funeral - To Warn The Living: Repent Or Likewise Perish." However, organizers at Planting Peace have launched a fundraiser to counter the church's plans. Hotwater
I heard yesterday that he was cremated the day after he died and ashes scattered in San Francisco Bay. Also that there was already a private funeral.
