Lately i have been listening to Krays album called inside warfare. its really awesome. But over and over again? it really has been The Ejected - Spirits of Rebellion album. for the past 3 months or so. every morning i wake up and get off the floor and walk over to record player and put on ejected, just from first track than i head to shower. its pretty far out.i really feel i can relate to and identify with this shit. i love punk music. i listen to so much of it, it just feels so natural. one huge aspect of it is the conscious point of view that is an ever fresh subject topic. not like singing about some stupid girl friend or somthing. i have hundreds and hundreds of records, my wife digs it but thinks i make too much of an anylitical study of the jams. productions, culture, style, of each and band that i end up tearing apart. Street punk is where my heart is at. Of course this started from hearing black flag when i was in 3rd grade or so and was almost scared at the reality it jolted me with. it was so different. so weird. so when i was able to get a little older and thing for my self i think i was in 4th or 5th grade i started actually stealing my cousins tapes. i was able to get my hands on 7seconds, subhumans, and old angry samoans recordings. i listened to it till i was about in 7th grade without even knowing what the names of the bands were. cuz they were blank tapes. but as i got older i followed my ears and of course i eventually found out the source. But yes . ill shut up.

havent been on the same songs lately, been skipping around a lot.
local h is probly top of the list, only there early stuff would really fit in with the traditional punk genre.

I just got a 10" record (3 songs on each side) of a band called "THE NUMBERS" and lemme tell ya it sounds pretty good!

I havent ever heard of them... On the jacket it says "Recorded 26/27 October 2000"

For 2000 it was done quite analogue souunding (Sounds insane)

Any one anythiing about THE NUMBERS??

i thought of Groove Armada. Fatboy Slim... and Paul Oakenfold actually came up in conversation. But also, the Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Cake, and Hum.

This song ("Stars") reminds me of my wife and her journey, but I think its lyrics are probably just meant to be a silly rhyme. But imagery is powerful. & this song allows the listener to imagine some scenario. With stars in the heavens above...

Didn't know this was in 'Punk'.

The answer is Blink 182 lots & lots & lots... But also, NOFX! :)

also, the Casualties are cool, and whenever I think of punk I think of their album art.

not a huge punk fan, but I can never get enough of the Chats
The got a new one out called struck by lightning.. Their video production has graduated.
I'm kinda sad they got so popular. between creative influences, and me wanting to know about something secret to me, they won't be the same as they were for Smoko, pub feed. Still amazing and legit AF
