Funky Town by Lipps Inc 1980, but some of the ones above were great too. It's funny looking back at some one hit wonder lists like on: http://kearth101.cbslocal.com/2013/09/25/the-biggest-one-hit-wonders-of-the-60s-70s-80s-beyond/ That reminds me, loved this one too Butterfly by Crazy Town
Reflections of my Life; Marmalade Venus; Shocking Blue Can't find these on itunes, so maybe they were never hits, but are on youtube.
Let's do the Tighten Up...by Archie Bell and The Drells! (I don't know how to attach the tune! If someone can post it on here I would be eternally gratefull!)
Peter and Gordon had several hits (10) including Go to Pieces written by Del Shannon. There were two other hits written by McCarthy, Peter's sister dated Paul. And let's not forget Lady Godiva

There was no group called the Hollywood Argyles. The song was written by Dallas Frazier as a country song but was recorded by studio musicians who were paid $25. Reportedly they were all drunk at the time of the recording. It sold over 1 million copies in 1960. Sure is hip.
