Tonight I was reading about how the clothing industry has incredible waste. Approximately 1,000,000 tons a year that's just dumped or incinerated. Also, how it takes over 400 gallons of water to make one organic cotton tee shirt. I read about a company, Loopt, that takes this clothing industry, pre-consumer waste, and upcycles it into clothing, backpacks, laptop envelopes, etc. Their website fascinated me. They have on on-line store with really cool, reasonably priced items; plus opportunities for companies to buy their own logo swag from them...like they give away at seminars, etc. Anyway, here's the web address if you want to check them out: http://www.looptworks.com/
