60% of American's income goes to rent or mortgage. Back in the 1940's it was 15%. New cars are also twice as much money as they were 20 years ago. Combine that with stagnating wages and student loan debt and things start to resemble feudal Europe. Feudalism 2.0.
what gets me, these 'conservative' politicians, who weren't even born yet when america had anything to conserve, what do they think they mean by greatness? i'm totally baffled. unless its just some kind of code word or buzz word, that doesn't have to mean anything, or whatever is convenient to them at the moment. (not that it didn't always have things to be ashamed of too. but even leaving that aside, any of the things that were good about the 50s and 60s, don't seem to interest them.) (they must think it means they get to play video games with real people's lives. feudalism 2.0 forsooth).
