What do you think? I know the look is not well suited for every guy, but think Russel Brand types. Personally, I like it. After going to a tight fit, I loathe anything with extra bagginess. I find guys pants to be so needlessly large and baggy, and plain and boring looking. Why is everyone so down on dudes who wear chick jeans? Better yet, why is everyone so uptight about dudes in tight clothes all together? It has long since been fashionable, but only now people tend to find so much objection. I think it's funny when people comment about reminiscing of a time when "men looked like men". Go ask your mom how your dad dressed back in the 60s or 70s!
I think the man has to have a very specfic type of body shape to be able to wear skinny jeans and leather pants etc properly. Long, very lean and not a hint of a belly. Baggier pants are usually easier for everyone to wear.
I well remember how my dad, and older brother dressed in the 70s. And sadly, how I dressed in the 70s. I'd rather see polite young men than anything else. I live in a crossroads community. We have plenty of Russell Brand types, drag queens, hipsters, emos, gangstas and wannabes. So no one is happy with anyone's pants. Just don't make me have to see your crack. Keep it to yourself.
I used to sag. Still do, just tightened my jeans up some. I don't do skin tight jeans - my dick don't fit. I have style for lifetimes. And r0llin you still is a gangsta, nicca.
Someone once said "why have gender roles when you can have pizza rolls" so dress however the fuck you want and toss some pizza rolls into the oven :sunny:
skinny jeans are alright.. this thread just made me think of something- aren't the buttons on pants and shirts for men & women located on opposite sides? why is that?..
I've been wearing girl jeans for a long time now, they just fit better and look better on me. Jeans manufacturers know this is the case with a lot of guys that's why they've been making mens jeans that fit more like women's. i.e. Levi 510, Vans Slimbo (very low rise and stretch).
I don't know why people keep saying that, it isn't true. At least not in the US. I own pants both guys and girls and they always button from the same side. I've seen "left handed" buttoning before, maybe it's for left handed people? But generally all clothes for both genders, button comes from the right side.
If you don't like baggy and are doubting if skinny jeans are too skinny: There is something in between baggy and skinny jeans. And there are plenty of them. Glad I could help! Captain Obvious.
I wear slim jeans which are falling apart (waistband ripped off, held together with safety pins). I don't care what people think. My gf likes my jeans.
