    for me, the theme of the old western series WAGON TRAIN composed by Jerome Moross is the most beautiful theme ever for a tv series.

    the Rockford theme music was composed by Mike Post, who did the theme music for a lot of TV series in the 1970s-1980s, including HILL STREET BLUES, ST ELSEWHERE and several others.
