Noooo...for a flower to cover up would defeat its purpose! Its trying to attract creatures to help with pollination.

I think if I were a flower I'd try not to have human cultural hangups about covering up :)

I am so with you on that.

Now, can I ask you a really personal sexy question? LOL
    Standard male thinking. Right?

Which to your thinking, is better?
    Day blooming and bees?
    Or
    Night Blooming and Bats?

LOL just kidding. No you don't need to answer that one. Okay?

So, on to the next thing. New Friends. :sunny:

i mean, our sexual organs would be displayed too if we weren't so obsessed with society. thats why i like plants. they're not simple, they're pretty complex, but they live simply :D

    But you know what?

    You just now said it.
Talk about 40 years of hippie progress. What you just now stated is the basic idea of the whole sexual revolution in the 60s. You just now said the same idea.

    society

In the 60s we were running away from society. The whole deal.
    DROP OUT.

If society was doing it, then we were looking for anything else, but that.

You Just Summed up the WHOLE THING. In a word.

If young people want to know about the 60s, than, -------> What She Said.

    You go Girl!

(Please note: The birth control pill was brand new back then. "Women Power" And they only had gonorrhea and syphilis, one week of antibiotics and you were good to go.) Clean.

Now those were the Days my Friend.

You are brilliant my friend! In one thought.

You should start looking (searching) on-line to Look into gaining a basic understanding of philosophy. Both ancient and modern philosophy. It could just be your trip. You might love it.

Maybe just maybe you would go nuts doing six years of philosophy for a master's or more for a Ph.D. That would be nuts. But it might just be you. You decide. I don't know you.

    "profound thought"

Lots of student loads. 4, 6, 8 years. Do you love to read books? Grants will pay your rent and electric. and food.

    Just a thought.

That's ether you or it isn't you. LOL You tell us?

i've always been interested in how the human brain works, behavior patterns, etc. but like i said! i'd rather put my energy into plants, and learning about those. truly, horticulture and botany and etc are my passion!

though sometimes i think i'd be a good counselor. so long as i'm not in a state of binge/idgaf about anything

    Okay. That's for you.

I think of garden as an aside. Gardening to my is not a Main Thing.
What do I mean by that? Let me tell you.

In '79 - '81 I lived in the Santa Cruise mountains. Hippie veggie smokin' reggae Way Tall Redwood Trees paradise. I was a hard lovin' hippie and a meat eater. I was a fucked minority and spit on by all. Everyone was a Nazi vedg and they were all on my ass. Truly.

Somewhere in '81 in the spring I choose to build a big garden, all from seed. Mostly straight people food. Money tomatoes. Save every one tons of money. Lots of corn seeds. Watermelons. Growing underground french fries. Other common foods, and seasoning herbs. Not Pot.

So, after work everyday I would come home and water my little garden that was big enough to feed all of the 6 veggies who lived in my house and who had all ripped on me for years, for probably the next half a year, for hungry veggies. No money for six months for all of them. A hell of a deal. Get it?

    Here's my point.
Gardening should be a leisure type of enjoyment. And NOT Work. I did it as a wind-down after working for eight hours. The whole land was on a slop. I had cut all of the trenches in a zig-zag from the up hill down to the bottom of the garden. After I changed clothes after work, I would go out and place the hose in the top end of the highest trench. I'd turn the hose on and let it flow.

Then my big job was to get something to read and then to lay out in the Sun on my chaise lounge at the foot of the garden and to watch it all flow. My really hard gardening would consist of laying back and chilling for 28 minutes until the water hit the bottom of the trenches. Then I would need to get my ass up out of the chaise lounge and turn the nob to turn the water off.

If anyone out here feels that growing food is a hard job, then you really need to get with me.

I make it very easy. Touch base.

    Hi Tyrsonswood,

I'm glad that you found here. Who do you like the old three story hippie Victorian house and your living big high ceiling living room? Nice place, huh?

I want to get you a special old over stuffed chair, here. One that everybody thinks of as Tyrsonswood's chair. Where shall we place it?
