Show me something you've built or rebuilt. I haven't built anything lately, however, I'm thinking of undertaking a pallet table... A mix between this: And this:
I like both! I don't have the piece anymore, but I had a bookshelf made from pallets. Based it on tonsu boxes. My son had a platform for his mattress, also from scrap wood, but I think it was plywood and pallet. Right now I have planter boxes from recycled signs, plywood again.
A bookshelf?! That is so awesome! I've seen some stuff online like that. I'm loving all the pallet stuff I find online! People are so creative! We've been getting A TON of pallets for our basement (water gets in, so we try to keep stuff elevated) but we're going to have a bunch left over when we clean out the basement. But, for the table, I want the heavy duty pallets, so I've been on the hunt for them!
i built this natural swimming pool about 5 years ago, no chemicals no work no maintanance just pure pleasure BOOMSHANKA BABY
This is suuuper funky im loving the top table such a great idea... but the second table is classic aswell great dude.
Are you sure? Although I am on the other side of the atlantic ocean I used to get them for free at a local distribution centre where they go through a lot of pallets. I'd say just try that!
Ok, then I see no option than to snatch them before the employees do (or say you'd pay a little something for a few of them)
I built these... Didn't use pallets though. I built quite a few others too, back in the day. Second one is burnt now but still plays, first is basically charcoal from the housefire.
Damn... that sucks. Is it expensive building your own guitar btw? Or is it mainy the expertise that keeps people from doing so
Wood is very expensive and the hardware ain't cheap, but the know how to build from raw wood with mostly hand tools.... Not many people have that.
I built planters out of old wood pallets. This is about half of them. The upright ones are for vine plants.
