    Everyone has heard 'Tainted Love', but comparatively few have heard their best song ever (one of the best songs of the 80s, off one of the best albums of the 80s). This is from 1981.

    Simply beautiful. I love the synth on this track immensely.

    If the song sounds uneventful at first, keep listening. Trust me.

    Agree it is Soft Cells best song. There is a Wikipedia page for the song which lists the cover versions done. One that is not mentioned is by Cicero, so adding a link for that. Only starting listening to his music as his early stuff was produced by Pet Shop Boys and he was signed to their own label. His 'dance' mix is very much of the time (1996) especially the programming but I like it. The cd single included a 7" mix and 2 other mixes.
