Who is your god? Mine is the elephant-headed god Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.

    Hare Krishna!

You are the endless sea In whom all the worlds like waves Naturally rise and fall. You have nothing to win, Nothing to lose. Child, You are pure awareness, Nothing less. You and the world are one. So who are you to think You can hold on to it, Or let it go? How could you!~ Ashtavakra Gita 15: 11-12

Mother Earth, Universe, Allah, Ganesha, Krishna, Jesus.....we all. Who or what can be excluded ? Anything left outside will live or exist without true love for God.

    Love to all.

    Kumar.

Nothing can ultimately be left outside. Every particle of the universe will return to That in the end. Because it is already That.

But as gods go, Krishna certainly has some attractive aspects.....probably the most complete personality of Saguna Brahman.

Because particles can't move according to Xeno. In between we can say things are correctly the way they are; things have no sense for their experiences. Makes it justify the competitive world I say.

I don't want to work for the respect I deserve. Instant success now.:biker:

Not who but what. Most that is effable and all that is ineffable. Names don't qualify, although some names embody/impart great knowledge regarding desired sentient behaviour and are useful if used.

According to Hindu philosophy, the divine exists as what is termed nirguna brahman, or God without attributes, and saguna brahman, God with attributes.
I think it's the first of these your talking about here.
I'm not sure what you mean by names don't 'qualify'.

No gurus-only the energy that holds ALL together. I haven't read Hindu philosophy ,but I now will. I do understand the dichotomy between modern western and eastern philosophies, just not the particulars. Of course, who among "us" could know all the particulars of anything

For me my god is within me that tells me if am right or wrong, for me everything is god whether good or bad. Just imagine that god created everything then there was good that came from god but what about bad where do you think it came from. From the same creator who created both sides of a coin. The one the almighty that i worship and shall i always find him everywhere.

No gods for me, thanks. If I experience tangible evidence of one, then I may have one.
