Well, she should be strung up for doing something like that. Anyway, I've heard people claim that you can filter rubbing alcohol through a loaf of bread and make it safe, but I don't believe it. Just buy some booze, there's no reason to drink rubbing alcohol. And if you can't buy it, do what everyone else does, find someone who's old enough to get it for you.

Drinking iso or any other type of non consumable alcohol is just a bad idea. For $20 worth of supplies (10lb sugar, 20 cans cheapest frozen juice, wine yeast), one can make 5 gallons of cheap wine, cider, hooch, or whatever you want to call it.

 

I'm sure you could, but I wouldn't. And I'm a known drinker of hand sanitizer, mouthwash, vanilla extract, etc.
Just not a good idea, really isn't.

There's no methanol in mouthwash. It's ethanol. Maybe you're thinking about menthol...which isn't deadly in the least.

 

It is denatured, and was low grade crap from the start, since you're not supposed to drink it. So methanol, and possibly some other shit, too.

Incidentally the emergency treatment for methanol poisoning is to get you really fucking drunk on ethanol so that the methanol gets bumped through as ethanol, apparently saving you from it's toxic metabolites. So..... at least you have THAT going for you, as the methanol is in a solution of ethanol.

 

Gasoline now contains 10% ethanol, which is higher than steel reserve. It is also cheaper, haven't bought any gas in a minute but I think these days you can still get a gallon for about the same price as a 40 of steel reserve and you can't beat that. It's the most fucked up for your dollar you can buy, and the aromatic hydrocarbons in gasoline adds a distinct character to the buzz. The 91 octane stuff is what you really want.

It's not as toxic as Methanol, but it's still not good for you. It may not kill you or make you go blind, but it will wreak havoc on your stomach. Just stop doing it. If you want some cheap booze that will fuck you up get some MD 20/20.
