I hate shoes, I don't wear them all spring, summer and autumn unfortunately, I have to put sth on my feet in winter, cause in Poland winter sometimes is very hard I wear flip flops then or If I absolutely have to, suede shoes for the lowest temperatures...
I wear one pair of shoes for 99 percent of occasions. They are dark brown with dark red accented Merrell hiking shoes. They are three years old and have no noticeable tread wear. In addition, they are waterproof. The best part is that they look dressy enough to be worn at most occasions, even when I am wearing a blazer and tie.
^^ same here...if im working Ill wear my steel toe/steel shank work shoes/runners but lately ive been wearing just a cheap pair of decent looking walking from walmart...$20 a pair i could wear out a bunch before spending what good ones would have cost and im size 13 ..they dont stock much above 11 at my walmart so I generally just look at the sizes and then buy them if the shoe is decent...ive given up finding a nice pair and they never have my size so I shop backwards
I wear Converse almost every day. I have two pairs of Chucks, and recently bought a pair of yellowish Purcell.
vans, vans, and vans. Old skool hi-tops, eras, classics, half-cabs, chukkas. New pro models. Vans shoes just bliggity blam blow!
I almost always wear plain converse or bunny slippers, sometimes flats. anything i can just toss on and go in!
I went barefoot until I developed plantar faciitis. Now if I wear anything other than Birks, they have to have arch supports. Luckily except for sneakers and boots, all I have are Birks since they come in such a variety of styles and last forever (with proper care, resoling, etc.) so they more than pay for themselves! If I didn't have to worry about foot problems and if it didn't snow here from Autumnal Equinox to Beltane, I'd be barefoot all the time as well! I envy you!:2thumbsup:
