there is another game. one you can only win by no body else loosing. it is actually possible to win that one. it just takes living outside of your own ego. very few even try to play it.
Alright, since you bothered to comment a second time - I'll bite. I'm in that mood. :hat: It's a stupid psychology game. Its only purpose is to illustrate that the harder you try to not think about something, the more difficult it is. I understand what you're driving at, in an over-analytical sense. Though, as a big fan of 'The opposite of a great truth is also true' I believe if we are all winners, we're also all losers as well. Though, I don't believe that being 'a loser' is quite the negative connotation that, I'm guessing, you perceive it to be. Just as being a 'winner' to me, seems just as ego-loaded a term. Maybe it's personal semantics *shrug* But 'The Game' is not meant to be metaphor for life. We who play are not making it a metaphor for life. And if our motives for playing seem to you an asinine way of impressing others, how do you think you seem, as one who has profound criticism of a Game that is silly and mostly irrelevant? The answer of course is: Who cares. The problem lies with the perceiver.
If you lose The Game you have to start again from the beginning. But the good news is everybody wins one day
Fuck... Anyways, I have a friend who really did win the game. He's a little slow and doesn't understand it when I try to explain it to him. And every time I bring it up he's just like, "What?" When I give up, so does he. He's won the game.
FUCK i lost..i havent lost in like 6 months..thank you hipforums for reminding me im forever doomed to play the game
Oh come on!! I've haven't lost the game for the past two months since school ended for the summer. Not a day goes by in school that I don't lose the game... So... I LOST THE GAME!!
