I was in junior high, I remember when the second plane hit, my mom didn't want me going to school; I was a video game obsessed kid; I said it was fine. Didn't know or understand the seriousness of the implications. At school the teachers didn't teach, they just watched with everyone else on TV.
I was just getting on the victory bridge in Perth Amboy when I switched cds and the radio man said the towers just went down. Normally I can see them from the top of the bridge but that day was either too foggy or too much smoke to see the city clearly. Got to work and everyone agreed to just leave for the day.
