Favorite Pink FLoyd Song

Pink Floyd is without a doubt my favorite band, and i want to hear if its yours.
What's your favorite Pink Floyd Song

PS: Please don't say Comfortably Numb, Time, or Money ( THey're good songs but theyr'e way too god damn overplayed and everyone always gravitates towards them.)

I would say that my 2 faves right now are Fearless and Echoes(the long version).
Mine will prob change in a couple days but what the hey.

 

I love Pink Floyd, but even amazingly enough to me, I wont say they are my favorite band, but they are in my top 10, along with Wishbone Ash, Deep Purple, Roy Buchanan, Marshall Tucker Band, etc.

As for my favorite Floyd song, it has to be Dogs.

Right now, "Apples and Oranges."

 

either "Let There Be More Light" or "Corporal Clegg" from Saucerful of Secrets, "Fat Old Sun" or "Summer '68" from Atom Heart Mother, "San Tropez" or "Echoes" from Meddle, "The Gold It's In The..." or "Childhood's End" from Obscured by Clouds, and "Dogs" or "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" from Animals..so you see, I'm a huge huge Floyd fan. If they ever released a compilation of just these songs, it would be the greatest Floyd compilation ever.

holy shit, i didn't actually think i'd see anyone say this one. Just for your information, they never covered house of the rising sun. You're prolly thinking of the band Fridjid Pink. That song has been circulating the internet for years under the wrong band. Sorry to burst your bubble man. Not Floyd, definatley. Just listen to the Fridjid version, exact same. I thought the same thing a couple years ago.

Thought I'd check back into my thread again.
Anyway, my songs changed again. Right now i've been listening to the Atom Heart Mother Suite alot. Also Fearless.

 

Yeah just choosing one is nearly impossible....


I know its cheesy and typical but Time is without a doubt one of the finest tunes they have.

I really like the entire "Wish You Were Here" album. And off of that I would say Have A Cigar.... "Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar, you're gonno go faaaaar!" Ahhhh...can't help singing along to that lil jig.
