Since i was a kid i've always been fascinated by rail carts.Still often dream i'm on one.Would love to take one on some abandoned tracks somewhere
Even long distances, car over plane. I like traveling through states to see new sights and people. I hate the airport experience! I don’t mind flying but I feel like I spend more time at the airport between lines and flight delays than actually flying.
Airplanes' most preferred for long distance trips. I get there quick, get my damn rental car, and them I'm off!!!
For long distances prop plane. It flies low enough that you can still see interesting things on the ground while getting to your destination quickly. For short distances running.
flying. I dont even mind airports. They exist as a weird everyman's land outside the confines of time and space. They're filled with jet lagged people coming from all over the world. Makes for an interesting place to people watch I dont mind cars for scenic drives but camt stand them on long boring highways Bicycles are always fun for short distances
I've always wanted to sail across the ocean. Not on a cruise ship or something tacky like that, but something like a twin-mast sailing yacht.
really, there's a time and place for pretty much every means of conveyance, it just depends on the circumstances. except horses. there's no excuse for riding on those ugly fuckers. but yeah, boats beat all. then car, assuming there's no time constraints. i agree about airports; they are some of the best people watching. but i'm not a frequent flyer; i can see the experience getting old real fast if i did it a lot.
I like hiring a car when on holidays and driving through countries. That way I can get out and stop whenever I want etc. And actually see the country more this way. I have small motor home around Europe and hired cars in America to do so.
