I like Billy Holiday,Nina Simone,Rickie-Lee Jones,Ella Fitzgerald - I play alot of their songs on the piano every weekend in a restaurant.I like the songs Norah Jones did with Dolly Parton too - quite an unusual combination

madeleine peyroux and anjani thomas , both are great and preety similar . anjani thomas has worked with leonard cohen for her album "blue alert" , and madeleine peyroux sings some cohen and anjani songs ( though she also has her own creations )
another recomandation , though it might prove a bit more difficult to find , maria raducanu , a romanian jazz singer .
and , of course , nina simone , ella fitzgerald , billie holliday and sarah vaughan
