NW Folklife Festival is coming up again this Memorial weekend at Seattle Center!!! Suggested donation of $10 each or $20 per family, but it's only a suggested donation and you could get in without spending a penny. Food vendors are another story, as they will bleed you for everything you're worth. So, bring some bottles of water, snacks, and enjoy the music, dance, spoken word, arts n crafts, etc.

I moving to Harrisonburg VA is there anything that goes on around there? I know they have stuff in Gore Virginia, I went to the lil 420 thing there. And I think they have something going on there in Sept. so i need to know more!

 

You never hear of festivals like these in AL.
Or am I missing something?

Last year we had EarthFest in Boston but idk if it's an every year thing. It was some point in May .

Chestertown Tea Party, Chestertown, Maryland 21620.

Not so much a hippie fest, but it is a local festival, with reinactments and huge pirate ships in the river, no need for location. Just come to Chestertown, it takes up the entire town.

Google it man.

 

Anything In Phoenix Soon?

 

In Texas we have the Kerrville Folk Festival starting Memorial day weekend and lasts 18 days. It is free if you volunteer (I love volunteering there) and you get to camp free, free breakfast and dinner, free staff tshirts, free beer and sodas and you get to watch all the the shows on both stages. Although the music in the campground is beautiful and IMO alot more fun.

KFF also has a small 4 day fest the weekend of labor day in September. Also free for volunteers! It is called Wine and Music Festival and is a total blast!

Near the river in London! Totally free.

 

i know not many of you travel through Delaware, specifically northern Delaware, more specifically the Wilmington riverfront, but every year theres the peoples festival aka the Bob Marley festival. its a free festival and every year the wailers play in tribute to Bob Marley. its real cool, theres like vendors selling jamaican food, and the local head shops always have tables to sell their stuff. this year its on july 31, and i highly recomend everyone shows up cause its not every day you get to see the wailers play free
