Does true love exist? If so, is it dictated by the stars?

Perhaps I'm being naive since I've never been in a relationship (yep, 18 years old, college bound girl, never had a bf....but I haven't lost hope) but I'd like to believe that true love exists. The kind that lasts forever. Anyway, what do you guys think? If you do believe in true love, do you think astrology is related? I'm finding it hard to explain what I'm trying to say..... For instance, if true love exists, do you think it only occurs between two people with compatible signs? Or could an aquarius and scorpio for example, find a deep love that lasts their entire lives? What do you guys think? (Sorry if my questions come off confusing or contradicting.....I couldn't find the right words to explain what I'm thinking!)

 

Well from my experience, I think the stars may have some relevance but i'm an Acquarian with aVirgo and we're getting along really well (been over 3 years now and am sure it will last), so yes in my experience, it does.

As far as astrology goes, forget all about it. Love will happen when it happens to two people who may be dissimiliar. When you are in love you will not even think of astrology. If you have to consider love and astrology you may as well consider karmic astrology because mundane astrology will show very little about true love, it will only show tendencies, probabilities and possibilities.

You are unique. The other person is unique. And if love happens it is a miracle.

Me, I fell in love at first sight with a Taurus woman. There was nothing in my mundane that would indicate it. Karmic astrology on the other hand had more clues... But very few specifics.

 

Thanks for your replies. I'm glad to hear that there are actually people out there who still believe in true, undying love. I should really stop looking into astrology, no offense to its believers. I've never been in love or a serious relationship so obviously I lack in experience. However, whenever I find someone I'm interested in I have this impulse to look up our birthdays and see what our signs say and our compatibility. I tell myself I don't completely believe in astrology, but whenever I read something negative I can't seem to get it out of my head. I have to tell myself (corny and cliche but whatever) that love conquers all.

 

True love exists in evreyone, there is a person for evreyone, you should'ent really worry about it, your still a mere 18, dont worry about it, you just got to be patiant. I would advise you to socialise more, make new friends, go places etc....... if you want a bf.

 

Everything you read, hear or see will put an idea into your head. Therefore don't trust your mind. Love, when it happens, will have absolutely nothing to do with the mind other than to realise that you miss the other person when they are not there. When you are together, being together will be enough.

Everybody is distrurbed by reading negative things in their horoscope. Many just refuse to acknowledge it. The best thing to do is to just get to know yourself. If you can love yourself then you can love another. But if you cannot love yourself, how will you be able to love another? You can only give from what you have. If you do not have then you will want from another. If that person doesn't have, then how can he give you?

I think compatibilty astrology is useful when we have problems with a relationship. I think it's best to use natal astrology with some relationship astrology. That way you can see how each person aproaches a relationship as an individual, and then try to compare two charts. The more we know, the better life is.
