I missed Def Leppard, though, my then-ex-girlfriend still DID manage to get a concert t-shirt for me, lol. That was for Euphoria tour, I believe. I've met Toto... Very nice guys. Steve Lukather is a FINE guitar player.

Have you heard of a guitarist called Yngwie J.Malmsteen?

I like Guns n' Roses and AC/DC, those are my favourites from the 80's.

They asked them, they expressed no interest. I'm going to completely blow them off the whole time they're here. I can't believe them. They're so old and have no taste in music. I'm furious. Fucking furious.

Hey, I know how you feel. *hugs* I myself had to miss them a couple times. I also had to miss G3 in 2004. I was pretty upset then since it was my dream lineup of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Yngwie Malmsteen.

But I tend to stay optimistic when I miss a certain band/artist, especially if they aren't too old age-wise. I always try to think I can catch them next time. I had to miss Dream Theater once, but I was able to catch them a couple years later.

On the other hand, I'd made the right choice by never missing the Ray Charles concert a few years ago, because he basically died a little while afterward. I'd gone to Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry concerts for the same reason: that I might never be able to see them again if I missed them then.

Who knows, if you go to the next Def Leppard concert, we might be standing right next to each other without even being aware of our identities on HF, LOL.

Ha! I shouldn't be too worried. I'll probably be able to see Def Leppard sometime in my life, it's just this is the second time I've missed them. But they aren't that old. They'll still be touring for a while. The Stones are in their sixties and they're still at it.
And the Who is going on tour, which is quite exciting. I hope they come near us. That will be one hell of a show!
Has anyone heard the song "Say What You Will" by Fastway?
    And I. Love. Bon. Jovi.

Anyone heard of the band Alcatrazz?

Axl Rose is my idol and one of the few people I admire. I go through hell trying to defend him from vicious people who think they're God and try to put him down but I'm glad for it. I love Axl and think he's a beautiful soul, just misunderstood maybe.

    Great choices, by the way.

People misunderstand him because they mainly focus on his flaws. He isn't some kind of superman who is immune to problems. He's just like everyone else. He's human. I think Axl is a fantasitic musician, and that clearly shows in his compositions. You just can't listen to songs like "Estranged" and say they are poorly composed.

He's not crazy. He's just misunderstood. Poor guy. my heart bleeds for him. He never had anyone. He had so many bottled emotions.
