Yes they made a Fright Night II but it sucked In the first movie I thought Amanda Bearse (who went on to play Marcy in Married with Children) was hot. Hotwater
I like many of those already mentioned, especially the original Nosferatu. I have one of the best Dracula adaptations on dvd though starring Louis Jourdan. It was made in 1977 bt the BBC. Was the only time i ever peed in my bed because i was too scared to go to the loo. I was about 11 or 12.
Didn't like Interview w/ the Vampire at all.. and I thought Queen of the Damned should be banned and never spoken of again. Same with Blade 3 and Ultraviolet, those was some hilarious movin-pictures, but alas, I don't believe they was supposed to be. Dusk Til' Dawn (1 & 3), The Lost Boys, Near Dark, Salem's Lot, Once Bitten. I'm sure there's some more good ones out there. Maybe.
First off, Blade 2 was better then 1. And Duck, I could not STAND that movie. Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker? Ouch.... Hopkins as Helsing was good, had some intentional humor among all the unintentional laughs.
Nosferatu was brilliantly used in Roger Avary's Killing Zoe. A powerful, atmospheric vampire flick is Ferrara's The Addiction; although I don't really find it satisfying as a whole or agree with the philosophical ideas set forth, some extraordinary stuff. Like, the lattice like shadows on Annabella Sciorra's face just before she first gets attacked. Also the orgiastic bloody graduation party! Wonderful stuff!!! If my relatives had parties like that I would go much more often. T Luke
Hi Imagine, I have never seen Killing Zoe but by your description it sounds pretty good..have to look it up. Oops, and also The Addiction sounds good too.
Now that I've actually seen it instead of just hearing about it I can definitly say Nosferatu, one of the all time silent classics.
Once Bitten, My Best Friend Is A Vampire, The Lost Boys, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, Fright Night. I really like Underworld as well. Also, I hate to admit it, but I haven't seen Nosferatu yet-I have to do that!
Def Interview with the Vampire! SO beautiful! But the last part of the movie is no where near as strong as the first. It starts to lose its greatness once they get to the theatre des vampires parts. Bram Stokers "Dracula" Loved it as well! I also was a fan of "lost boys" and "near dark" I liked the 1st "underworld" as well.
