Thank you. I've really never seen that many vampire movies, to be honest. Although of the few I have seen, I really did enjoy the Interview With the Vampire... And I used to really like this one when I was a kid that I believe was called a Vampire in Brooklyn, or something like that. So cheesey-wonderful. XD
I didn't like Interview, after reading the books I just felt Tom Cruise couldn't capture the complexity of Lestat's character well enough. Everyone feels different about that though. I liked lots of the cheesy ones over the years even the movie Vamp. Someone mentioned Near Dark, I liked that one, & Lost Boys. Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula was done very well I thought. I truly enjoyed Blade, the second one too. Funny, I saw trinity, & I can't remember it. From Dusk 'til Dawn was fun. I haven't seen the new Underworld yet. I wasn't all that impressed with the acting in the first, except perhaps the head werewolf character... Gotta pay respect to Bela Lugosi, of course, as previously mentioned. Salem's Lot was allright. All that's coming to mind at the moment.
Yeah I almost walked out on Queen of the Damned but I was with people and I didn't have my car or change for video games. What about Dracula: Dead and Loving It
This may not be the best, but it's one of my favs: The Fearless Vampire Killers - Or: Pardon me, But Your Teeth are in My Neck
Don't know if its the best but it is definately different for a vampire movie -George Romero's "Martin"
Most of the Hammer films, Christopher Lee is the one true Dracula. Other than that, Nosferatu, James Whale's Dracula, Near Dark was good. That's about it. There aren't many good vampire movies, alas.
For comedy..The lost boys. Campy= Sucker the vampire..or subspecies. Fright night 1 and 2. Drama= Queen of the dammed. Classic= any Hammer Chris. Lee movie.
