If I had to pick my favourites (these are pretty much equally ranked as far as I'm concerned):

    Time Out of Mind
    John Wesley Harding
    Blood on the Tracks
    The Basement Tapes
    Another Side of Bob Dylan

Its so hard to choose, but I like Another Side Of Bob Dylan, and Blonde On Blonde is great. Right now, I'm mostly listening to The Freewheelin'
.... see, it's impossible to choose just one! :D

I really like the John Wesley Harding album, but I think I'm going to stick with Blood on the Tracks as my favourite, hands down!

i luv bob. blood on the tracks is the best in my opinion. the bootleg series 1-3 is sweet. ive found a way to relate to almost all of dylans albums (even the early 80's christian albums). all except world gone wrong, good as i been to you, under the red sky, oh mercy, and dylan & the dead. dont get me wrong tho i luv the dead too.

i heard on the news the other night dylan has done some studio work produceing a christmas album.i've been wondering how it will be.i'm thinking it might be pretty good.on his self portrait album from about 1970 he recorded some traditional and folk songs from other artists.some of the songs on that album were the best versions i've ever heard.( the boxer, copper kettle)so it will be interesting what he does with some of the old holiday standards....nashville skyline is my favorite.but i haven't heard any of his albums the last 30 yearsl
