George Takei, who played Mr. Sulu on Star Trek, is coming to my town! It's a big deal when celebrities come to my town because it's so small. The thing is, the price is $35. I like Takei, but I dont know if I'd be willing to spend so much on him. (Keep in mind I'm an unemployed student, so I cant spend too freely.) I mean if it was William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy, I'd spend it in a heartbeat. So, I'll think about it. Would anyone here see him? Anyway, I might wait outside and see if I can see him coming or going!
He's actually one of the most intelligent members of the cast so I would definitely go and see him, given the chance.
He's a fascinating fellow. I don't do Kendo anymore but I would jump through hoops to spar with George.
It would be nice to see him in Star Trek again as Hikaru Sulu. Does anyone know if anything is planned? I read something about "Star Trek:New Voyages", but we don't hear much in Greece (never mind see it). It's Deep Space 9 over here
