    I am glad to see that someone has included Wishbone Ash. They are still rocking to this very day.

    1) Jethro Tull (especially Thick as a Brick)
    2) King Crimson
    3) Early Pink floyd (before Sid Barett left - Saucerful of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother et al)
    4) Porcupine Tree
    5) A Silver Mt Zion (aka Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-la-la Band) (and yes I did spell that right)

    1 Iron Maiden (most of their songs are progressive,there is only one song not progressive on their last album "A matter of life and death")
    2 Pink floyd
    3 Dream Theater
    4 Yes
    5 Led Zeppelin(if really progressive)

    5-Zappa, or maybe Gong or Magma. After Anglagard I can't really distinguish favorites.

    Yes it is.THey were one of the first prog rock bands.

    Never was a fan of the label. Most of the bands in the category are played on the same shows as supertramp queen tom petty and the doobies
