And as I was just telling a vegan online, we might be able to return all zoo and circus animals to the wild. I don't know, they're used to living under the care of humans. (Which is much better for them BTW, in zoos.) But horses now, are not wild animals. But we shouldn't exploit them for riding and shows. So to keep horses alive and from becoming extinct or obsolete, do you all see the importance of zoos now? I asked. Domesticated chickens are not wild animals either. They could never be released back into the wild. To keep them alive, all of them, and thriving and happy too, why not just place them all in zoos? Hmm?
"All dogs deserve humans, But not all humans deserve dogs." (Someone online recently.) I think I'll post this here. What that person said above: yes and yes. Definitely. But I also wonder if a foster home setting wouldn't work out better for some dogs. Or just improve their quality of life in shelters. Make them longterm, in other words. Since many of the dogs (and cats, parakeets, etc.) will live out the whole lives there anyways.
