Real life zombies aren't the film zombies. Its something thats been built up from what used to happen.

For instance, in voodoo when it appears someone is dead. They get buried/ are lying in a morgue/whatever then wake up a few days later. Basically they're under some form of mind control, so they'll start biting/killing etc.

How long would I live? Hmm depends on the food supply. I've resisted the temptation to stock up... :-/

 

No, not the hollywood walking dead zombies. Maybe if rabies got out of control we'd have a problem, but it wouldn't last forever because rabies is fatal.

I have never heard this myth about rabies not being fatal to humans, I have always known it IS fatal.

There is a case of one known person surviving rabies without shots. Read about it some place a while back.

I felt that went without saying that it was fatal without treatment. That's why I was confused as to why you quoted me. What I said was "if rabies got out of control". Control implies treatment.
