can a zippo be revived after its out of fuel? it doesnt have a hole or any refill lookin thing at the bottom...
can a zippo be revived?! of course it can be revived! the little hole in the botom of lighters is for butane lighters, zippos use lighter fluid, sort of archaic light technology, well any way you can buy it in ace hardware stores, walgreens, cvs stores, discount tobacco shops, cigar shops, gas stations, 7 11, and so on, it comes in a yellow plastic bottle, you give life to your zippo by taking ahold of that perforated flame guard that sits around the wick and pull the inside part of the lighter out of the outer casing, on the bottom of this internal pice you just removed is full of a white spongy cooton material, there is a flap of this material, one end of the flap is held down by a little screw, pinch the end opposite of the screw and pull it up, hold it open while you squirt the lighter fluid in until the spongy material is complely saturated, then close the little flap and hold it upside down for like 5 minutes for the wick to soke up the fluid, wipe excess fluid off and push it back into the casing, strike flint a few times until the wick catches the spark and it's ALIVE!!!!!!
hehe yer thats one of the features of a zippo is that you take em everywhere and you can keep it forever.
THIS one, I know about! My Zippo collection is older than you are Fractual...Open it, and grab the "Chimney". Pull outward. See the cotton? Fill that with Ronson lighter fluid. (Liquid, not gas.) Wife hands and lighter dry, use as normal. Don't forget to buy Flints, and maybe a spare wick.
