    anyone watched it before?

i have my own opinions of it, but i'm wondering if anyone else has seen it, if u havent and have some time u can watch the full movie here:

    http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

it's 2 hours long but it's fairly entertaining, it goes from the Basis of Christianity, to how the government setup 9/11 and how a select few people in the world today look to control it and form a 1 world government

    check it out

alot of it I already knew, and in the end all it really is is a very well edited propaganda film, but the parts on religion interested me

Zeitgeist is definitely interesting and something to think about and explore, but I wouldn't believe all of it just because they tell you to.

If you think for yourself and do your own research, you will find that a lot of the material in Zeitgeist is either edited very very well or is exaggerated and twisted. I didn't catch many flat-out lies, but a lot of the information is misleading. I say keep researching, but keep what Zeitgeist had to say in mind.

alot of the stuff is also inevitable, like a north american union, one world government and currency, chipping people, etc.

in time, all of that stuff will come

It's interesting, but a lot of it is moronic. 90% of the comparisons between Christianity and other religions are stupid, and it doesn't seem to grasp the fact that maybe Jesus did exist and the authors of the Bible simply used those famous dates (like December 25th) to make it seem cooler. There is some truth to the film but overall it's pretty ridiculous.

so in the video they said theres no law saying you have to pay your income tax, that cant be right. Wouldnt that be tax evasion or something

i think its just saying those people from the IRS had the ability to aruge the fact that no where in the constitution does it say income tax is viable

the average person would not have the means to agrue that case, and therefor would be found guilty of tax evasion

    or so i gathered

Is this the video where the American government did 9/11, the video where Israel did 9/11, or the video where Israel and 9/11 did the American government?

imo i would not pay my taxes claiming them to be unconstitutional. Id then countersue for it being a frivolous law suit.

The second little story, the funny one where he says bullshitt a lot, that guy is very right on, BUT he is viewing man's side of religion. He sees everything we have done in religion as a way of making money, which IS true for some religions. The thing he doesn't see is that God does exist, but not in the Christian sense. The corrupt religions take God's image, the idea of God, and confine it in a single personafication so that they can make God anything they want, and say God made it that way.

The thing is, God does exist, but you cannot classify It, you cannot name Him, you cannot see Her, you cannot predict The One That You Cannot Understand. It is only human to try to define God, everyone of us does it. In death, is that the moment we finally understand God, or is it the moment in which we decided to stop attempting to define? Every action God has done is perfect and true, so this fault of mankind has a purpose, just as the speck of sand laying on top of a larger rock on a beach in sand too serves a purpose.

And this speaker can only see the Human side... Do not complain, for human nature will always cause corruption to happen to institutionalized religions and we cannot change human nature, for it is the definition of life. The fractal of life, every infinite branch grows infinitely thin, yet the point at which it end is undetermined, constantly changing, infinite. The number which is infinite, the answer to every law of nature, is just a sign God put there for us to see.

    ...End thought train...

Since when was Krishna said to have been born to a virgin? I guess the film conveniantly forgot to mention the seven other children born to His mother before Him
A lot of people like to attack cultures and spirituality without doing the homework first. It's ok though, anyone who says "Everyone is lying to you" MUST be telling the truth!

Im australian and I believe America to be a brilliant symbol of humanity. Built upon determination, exploitation, and selfishness, the prospering new world grew until it was sufficiently diverse and passionate and established to have a civil war based on principles. After which, the USA developed a constitution, a fundamental list of human rights of individuals, without any reference to a specific person or place of power.
This symbolises the 'power' of good in humanity. however, the power of evil is ultimately stronger, for it can creep up beneath the guise of good, under the veil of trust, and have control over everything. The constitution means very little now. The good could not prevail, because the longer it does, the more opportunities evil has for abusing it and heralding it, disguising its true selfish motive
