Seriously man, was this a joke? If not, what in the fuck are you smoking?

Smoking a joint does NOT always result in a person coughing...

I wouldn't say that. I still wouldn't call them posers, but I do agree, it's lame they are backing off all of the sudden when it probably was a real joint. Watch the video after Galifianakis says he sees dragons, his hand is shaking bad. He definitely looked nervous haha, which makes me believe it was real. Idk why though, once you decide to do it you should enjoy it and embrace what happens because it's for a larger cause.

 

I think he's a nervous guy. I saw him on Jon Stewart last night and he acted the same, just quiet and nervous sort of. I don't think he's used to the limelight yet.

 

Ya I guess that's definitely a possibility, I'd probably get like that sometimes if I was on TV. I don't think I could handle being famous. The money would be nice since I'm a broke student paying off school loans now, but I'm too private and introverted.

He made a choice... It was to either smoke a real joint on tv, and then afterward he has been regretting it and trying to hide from it behind others statements, or it was to pretend to smoke a joint on tv in order to 'pose' as an activist for pot.

Either way, it shows a huge lack of character...

This comes back to personal responsibility, either you accept the consequences of your actions, or you don't... He ISN'T...

Yet he complained on the news that the government wouldn't let his wife use cannabis if she couldn't extract it. Why would they need it from the government if he had this grow op?

Yea. I think they probably just said that;

1) to save Zach's career

2) to save Bill's ass (especially if he enjoys cannabis)

3) to save the ass of the show/network

4) to allow Zach to continue promoting his movie



This would also explain why Bill didn't opt to take a hit. He most likely knew that if he did he'd get in shit for it and could possibly lose his show.


Though that (if it was the case) goes to show you how passionate they are about the issue. They'd lie about it to cover their own asses. No wonder the movement never gets taken seriously. Every time someone tries to stand up and speak out, they get strong armed into keeping quiet about it because they're too afraid of the consequences.

 

Personally, I feel there has been way too much talk of balls in this thread.

I don't know that I agree.. Assuming it was real weed, it was suppost to be funny, but he was also proving a point.

And could you maybe name a few of the "thousand" times that people have smoked weed on live tv?
