yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

my cat had a HUGE SWOLLEN TICK on him this morning. *shiver* i hate taking those things off, i'm afraid they'll pop or something......BLECH!

 

my cats and dog gets them quite alot - put vasiline over it - it will fall of and die, or get a tick remover they are really easy to use. I dont like them at all but i hate the thought even more of something sucking my pets blood!!!!!!!

 

really? i never heard about the vaseline thing. once i got a grip on it, down close to the skin, i got it off easily but it's just nasty with that big balloon of a thing filled with Rusty's blood!

yeah they are horrible arent they, you have to be careful when you take them out as well cause they might end up leaving a leg behind or something!!!! you can get good tick remover things and they take the whole thing out!!!

im dying to rescue an orange tabby...i just love them. both the cats ive had in my life (one i still have and the other "belonged" to both my ex and i so when i moved out the kitty stayed with him) and they were both gray and white.

 

I had an orange tabby once...loved that cat to pieces...she had such personality, and she was fiercely loyal to me...she snuck out of the house and got hit by a car...it has been over 3 yrs. and I still miss her...

rusty is a rescued kitty too. he's neat cuz he has 2 xtra claws on one paw and 3 xtra claws on the other!! lol The ppl at the rescue place were so great about telling us how to introduce rusty to our other cat zoe. they were really helpful and the two of them are like brother and sister now. (we got rusty last december) ... washing ea other and stuff haha. i'll have to find smore pics

I got another kitty about 6 months after that, and she is still with me..a wonderful little furry companion. Her personality is a little different than my orange kitty, but she is still a total lovebug! I got a little dog too, about a yr. ago, and she is my other furry sweetheart. Talk about getting those two to get along!! They are buddies now, and although their relationship is just a little tentative (my doggy gets on my cat's nerves sometimes), they mostly get along very well.

Glad your furry kids get along well too...Love to see some pics!

Awww...cute kitties, Loopie!! I don't have any 'puter type pics of my furry girls, but when I get some, I'll post...my kitty is grey and white though, with copper highlights, and my dog is a gold and white shih tzu with black highlights, mostly on her ears. I think they're pretty cute!!
