52 people out of a cast of thousands were arrested on January 6th 2021 sacking the U.S. Capitol in an attempted Fascist coup d'etat.
They were overwhelmingly White.
289 people were arrested on June 1st alone during 'Black Lives Matter' protests for racial justice.
They were predominantly Black.

First you want me to believe the wealthy don't care about the poor and middle class, now you expect me to believe that cops are racist. Dammit Piobaire, you're just a cynic! You need to go out and buy an American flag!

 

The energy the wealthy use to pass taxes that support our communities on to the less wealthy is astounding. Sales taxes, flat taxes, license fees, tax rate cuts are all regressive taxes that help the wealthy avoid paying anything like their fair share at the expense of the less wealthy. Have they, the Republicans, no shame?

 

Of course they have no shame! Although they are certainly starting to get better with the election of that great american , George Santos---the inventor of money, the ten time academy award winner, the first man of the moon, the second man to pitch a no hitter in the world series----etc,etc, (resume much too long to post here)---yes that Mr Santos. We can't help but realize that the republicans have finally realized the errors of their ways when such an american hero is finally recognized. We can now look for the rich and corporations to pay their fair share in taxes, the sex offenders and liars to be impeached and thrown off the supreme court, all electricity to be generated by the sun and the wind----it's just astounding how much life is going to be so much better for all humanity very soon!! Rejoice , fellow citizens---paradise is coming!!

 

You know as well as anyone that the American flag is the only flag they fly in Heaven!

 

Um did you ever have a job? If so was it working for someone poor? Exactly then it did work!

Yup and population grow and more and more people have jobs.

 

Income and wealth inequality in the US is an international disgrace. Not coincidentally the start of the great grab by the wealthy was 1980… wonder who became President then. Most of us sick of the Republican mantra about “free enterprise” and dogged belief in the rich getting richer….history teaches us that such inequality is not the foundation for a free and stable society.

 

A doze of reality,, As a Canadian we all can’t figure out how u elected a nut bar for your leader,, convicted felon ,, Ya all want Canada as next state good luck with that never happen,, Now with tariffs he wants to implement do u realize that Canada supplies most of your oil and gas,, Also we supply most northern states with hydro electricity,, now lets tariff these imports u do realize that we don’t pay the tariff fees the consumer does,, how will u manage with no oil,gas or hydro,, never mind that Canada supplies 85% of your building materials,, Trump has brainwashed so many ,, Myself I see u all having a civil war before long, ya all need to wake up and smell the roses not the piles of bull that trump has said,,

 

The problem is productivity has increased and wages have not add in the massive increase of cost of housing an angry poor population is a just asking for disaster

 

I smell a failed grade in a logic class!

 

. How do you keep the rich in this country if you raise taxes they move the jobs move there money and at some point move themselves there is a reason states are at a race to the bottom to get business to stay not saying it’s right I just don’t see jacking the price up on the wealthy as practical answer and I get why politicians are doing the exact opposite in a world economy

 

As an American I can't figure it out either!

Most of us think it's a ridiculous idea!

It will be an economic disaster!

More and more are waking up to it every day!

 

Trickle down theory. ... the only thing that's ever trickled down on us is wet, yellow and warm.
